What is the difference between stonewave and earth clay or pottery ?

Pottery and earth clay are made from white or red clay only. The firing is 1050° C Max while stonewave is made from composite clay including silice field spatt, caolin and adaptif clay. The final product is fired at 1200° and 1250° C.
